東アジアを代表する二つの山、
日本の富士山、マレーシア・ボルネオ島のキナバル山。
それぞれ標高は富士山が3775メートル、キナバル山は4095メートル。
いずれも多くの民間伝承や物語を秘めた霊峰です。
写真家は、個性が異なる二つの山を取り囲む大自然のパワーに圧倒されながらも、
畏敬の念を保ち、ひたすら山頂を目指します。
臆することなく、その懐に抱かれるように静かにシャッターを切り続ける写真家。
無心で無欲な境地に至った彼をいつしか山の精霊たちは見守り、迎え入れた瞬間の記録。
聖なる山と写真家の無言のダイアログです。

Two representative mountains of East Asia,
Mt. Fuji in Japan and Mt. Kinabalu in Malaysian Borneo.
Fuji and Mount Kinabalu on the island of Borneo in Malaysia, each with an elevation of 3,775 meters and 4,095 meters, respectively.
Both are sacred peaks with many folklores and stories.
The photographer, overwhelmed by the power of nature surrounding these two mountains with different personalities,
maintains a sense of awe and earnestly aims for the summit.
Undaunted, the photographer continues to quietly release his shutter as if embraced by the bosom of the mountains.
This is a record of the moment when the spirits of the mountain watched over and welcomed him as he reached a state of selflessness
This is a silent dialogue between a sacred mountain and a photographer.
